The Marsden Page is not the only place where you will find information about Marsdens. There are commercial/fan club pages which are dedicated to an individual (though these usually do not contain much genealogical data) and there are pages mounted by other Marsden family researchers which will tell you more about the individual and will frequently contain pedigrees, photographs, biographies and other useful and interesting information. The selection presented here is made on no other basis than the fact that I am aware of the pages. COMMERCIAL AND FAN CLUB PAGES
If you remember the music scene of the sixties and seventies then you will have heard of Gerry and the Pacemakers. Gerry still has a faithful following and this page provides a potted biography and information about his career and music. Very tasteful background rendition of "Ferry Across the Mersey"
Page dedicated to the life and work of John Marsden, the Australian writer of teenage fiction. Includes photo and information about the author and his writings. John is a descendant of Reverend Samuel Marsden of Parramatta.

Barbara's page provides details of several of her ancestral lines but the most interesting of these is her descent from Edwin and Mary Ann MARSDEN who left Saddleworth for Fall River, USAtowards the end of the 19th century. Contains hyperlinked pedigrees and some photos of memorials.
Don has an extensive pedigree on the web including a lengthy MARSDEN line from William MARSDEN & Hannah BOWKER. William was born in Wigglesworth, Yorkshireand his son Henry Norman emigrated to the USA
Edythe traces her line from Samuel Marsden of Dukinfield (1793-1880) through John Marsden who Married Mary Edwards and their daughter Ann (born 1845). Her page which is part of GenRing is colourful and impressively indexed and includes a photo.
Judy's pedigree shows her MARSDEN ancestors descended from Arthur MARSDEN of Whittington, Derbyshire born in 1852.
Steve's page not only has details of his Marsden ancestry but also, amongst other features, has a listing of links to useful sites for genealogical information and computer software.
Patti's page shows her descent from Captain Charles Poole Marsden who was born in 1828 in Yonkers, NY, USA. His father, George Marsden was born in England.
Gerald is descended from the earliest Marsdens to live in Wigan, Lancashire. His site includes extracts from several church registers and transcripts of memorial inscriptions.
LOCAL INTEREST PAGES
Dawn Scotting has set up this informative page about Winster in Derbyshire containing a variety of local and family historical material. Winster is the seat of at least one large Marsden family and several Marsdens appear in the parish registers and in some will abstracts available at this site.
John Vincent has created an informative and well illustrated page about Marsden Park and the Reverend Samuel Marsden. Well worth a visit.
