Daniel MARSDEN [18537], Private 2nd Bn Border Regiment. Enlisted 14 Dec 1914 and served in France. Killed in the Battle of Loos 25 Sep 1915. Attended United Methodist Free Church, Withnell.

Joseph MARSDEN [17481], Driver Royal Field Artillery. Enlisted 1 May 1915 and served in Egypt and France and was wounded in the Battle of Ypres 28 Oct 1917 and died 30 Oct 1917. Attended St. Paul’s Church, Withnell.

Herbert MARSDEN [135636], Lance Corporal RASC Mechanical Transport. Enlisted October 1915 and served in Belgium, France and Germany. Died 13 March 1919 suffering from pneumonia at Cologne. (Photograph)

Harry MARSDEN Private Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Enlisted July 1916 and served in Mesopotamia. Died 16 July 1917 from heatstroke. Attended the Parish Church of St. Lawrence. (Photograph)
